Dufty looks rapid even on this cabbage patch pitch. Good composure from Wrench.

Man crush on Fitzgibbon developing here, been saying for ages we needed a new Waterhouse type in the second row. Should be 24 12 up now!

FFS goalkicking is so important. Why do so many coaches deprioritise a decent kicker.

Very encouraging this. Shame about the kicks but I'm happy.

Really enjoyed that half, we have completed well, had an effective kicking game and attacked well throughout. Defence for the most part was good and aggressive, why dufty didn't get up in the air for their first try inreally can't say, but their 2nd was a good move executed very well. We showed good character to get past the points swing and get back on the front foot, I'm finding this team much easier to get behind than our recent vintages. I can only remember the referee giving 1 penalty, he got one wrong for holroyd interference but thats always going to happen a couple of times over 80 minutes and this is 2 good teams going at it. The groud conditions arent great, but this is more like the sport that I grew up with.

Dufty is a very clever attacking player - that kick through for Wrench was perfect......but boy do we need a goalkicker
