just out of interest, how much would it be if i wanted alan to take a look at a car for me?

ive never used a service like this before but would be interested at the right price. also does it come with any guarantees ie, if i bought a car on alans recommendation and it turned out to be a lemon would alan reimburse me?

Currently you would have to book through Dekra Expert, there are clauses however if it where inspected and then the following day the engine fell out you would be covered.

The problem is that once he has looked at it and the car is moved away only the owner knows what has been done to it so if the enginge fell out a month after then I dont think it would be covered.

It gives you peace of mind as to the condition of the car just before purchase.

If it turned out to be stolen, a cut and shut (Seen a few of them, some of the photos are horrific, look nice on the outside but proper death traps) or anything like that then the buyer would be completely covered.

Depending on the car it costs about £140 which I think to make sure a 6,8,10 grand car is coacher is money well spent.

i'd put in a search engine words like..pre purchase, car safety and reliability check and see what came up local
