Nothing immature, I just have better things to do with my time than stand in the ground 4 hrs before kick off watching the poor pre match entertainment.
If I choose to have a pint in that time I can. Being drunk has nothing to do with it! I get fed up of moaning fans thinking they should get the best spot in the house! It’s a rugby game not a theatre as you previously stated.

5 blokes at 6 foot 3 ,
we need to sign them for our front row...
Wire fans are over reacting, you are only 2 games in, this comp is won later in the year.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS

If you want to turn up late, then the stewards should be farming them out to where ever the crowds thinner.
Catpiss, I do agree with your point that some people have no respect and do push and expect people to move so they can stand where they want, but there are a couple of posters complaining about 6footers standing in front of them. Sorry but that is nonsense. If they stand in front of you, then there is space. They need to stand somewhere!
The drunken idiots being aggressive is a seperate issue to people coming in late and taking a space in front of you which means you can't see. The steps are steep, so most should be able to see, but if not, I would recommend standing near the front or sitting down.
For the reason of the relatively high percentage of idiots, I have upgraded to a seats season ticket for the first time ever this year (see my above post!).

i'm not complaining about restricted view at all dave, where we and our merry band of speccies stands, it get's quite congested early on nearest the stairs. What you find is you get a group of about 6 blokes who turn up after kick off squeezing into the space for about 2, the knock on effect is everyone else has to push over and spend most of the game leaning to keep balance, manys the time last year where i've stood at the back of the south stand, they've turned up and it's been packed so i've ended up leaning backwards over the metal bar between the steelwork which ends up with a sore back at the end of the match.
you ever tried standing on the spot leaning over to one side slightly for a while, you'll know what i mean.

Yeah I agree, my point was adressing three posts.
There are plenty of ar$es in that stand who do not give a toss about anyone else, hence me being in another stand now.
