Had a great time in Perpignan and will definately be going back next year, Like wolfette said met a few people off here, I dont come on here much but it was nice to chat to fans that do. Wolfette who were the 2 wire fans you were with at the airport? do they come on here?
Again was at the airport with all the players watching somone have a go at the players wasnt pleasant, I do understand her point of view on things but the way it was done wasnt to nice telling mona face to face that he is a waste of money etc and telling most of em to f off. Was sat talking to Clarkey in the airport nice bloke asking if we'd had a good weekend apart fromt he result. Think they all knew they hadnt performed etc and look pretty dejected when they were there either that or hung over or both haha

Yes I agree, I can understand in the heat of the game fans were frustrated and this embodied itself in chanting and abuse (although still I didn't join in with this because IMO when things are going wrong the LAST thing they need is the fans on their backs) but to carry this over to the next day, abusing them face to face, that is really bad.
Do some people forget that the players are people too? OF COURSE they knew they played badly and that we were not happy. And maybe every now and then they do need a reality check from the fans showing their frustration. But if I was a Wire player, some of the abuse they have had to put up with, I would be past the point of thinking "I am gonna give 110% to turn this season round for the fans".
Anyway, rant over..... despite the result I still had an absolutely brilliant weekend! Lots of sun, lots of booze and lots of great banter with all the Wire fans will definitely be there next year and will probably stay for longer next time (that 5AM start on Sunday morning to get the plane was too much )

Got back late last night, Thursday, Friday and Saturday Morning was fantastic but the performance put a real downer on the Saturday night and Sunday for me.
Disgracefull, no passion, no pride, no commitment, clueless, lazy, rubbish are just a few words to sum up the Warrington performance.
In total the trip cost me £670 and we had fantastic support all paying at least £500 in average, we deserve a lot lot better than what we got and some players need to start looking in the mirror and asking some serious questions about the commitment to the club.

I don't get why people say "We paid so much money to see them and they didn't perform" or "They should have won for the fans who travelled" et cetera.
The players aren't going to put more effort in just because it's in France, it should be the same amount of effort as any other game. There's nothing special about it just because the game is in France.

It is'nt different to any other game but players start speaking in the guardian saying they need support, they get 2,000 plus fans paying a fortune to go to france and they perform like a crock of ....
