| The young Wakefield winger Lewis Murphy, looks a very promising player, from what I saw in last night`s game versus Huddersfield.

| Talking of TV games anyone see the Wakefield v Huddersfield game last night? From a Wakefield perspective if only Poching had convinced Trinity that they were playing us

Oh yes, no idea why it can't all be to us being rank bad, although we were, as that would be a tad disingenuous, they played well (three games on the bounce now including last season away). I think they thought they were building now all their thoughts are on a relegation scrap.
Fine margins btw I agree with Boss Hog I also like the look of Murphy the young winger

A name to watch for a wing prospect is Josh Lynch, currently playing for Wire Academy.
Very exciting young player, and looks the business for his all round skill set.

Showed it again last night mate. Apparently offers "nothing" though according to some.
It's a tough one for you guys at the moment as, on paper, you have enough in your side to be expecting far more than you're getting. While it's true the pack is weak, it seems to go deeper than that. Team unity just isn't there. It's easy to see from the transformation in us from last season to this just how important that is. The question is whether it's the players or the club?
Our players copped a lot of stick last year but the same players are playing well this. Harry Smith being a great example. The change seems to be predominantly coming from the top, in particular Matty Peet. I guess the question for yourselves is whether Darryl Powell is the man to drive a similar change at Warrington. He came in at the same time as Peet and has made a similar amount of signings yet has had nowhere near the same impact.
Early days yet, and still time to turn it around, even for the remainder of this season but the 2 tough games coming up are probably make or break.

| I mentioned after our game last week, that Wigan looked sharper than they have for a while. They've carried on where they left off against us, and it can't be any coincidence that a switch has been flicked sine Hardaker left.

| Peet and wane are very defensive minded coaches, does the current Wigan attack show briers was just used to put cones out n carry water under price ? Was just in there coaching cust who was listening and has been playing really well recently.? Very annoying if so

I questioned many times what was Briers doing when we couldn’t score if we were the only team on the pitch. Think it kind of answers your question because Wigan playing well in attack now.

| Well done Wigan.
I thought that you has blown it in the second half, but great try from Marshall who showed tremendous pace.
Congratulations Lee Briers.

| Great game, any neutral watching that should be a lifelong fan.
That's twice Saints have rolled the dice with an injury in a CC game and its cost them. Over to you codface.

| Redvee slating the the young scrum half making him the scapegoat, he however didn’t throw a wild pass into touch or throw a wild pass along the floor to loose the game.
Hurrell and Lomax seemingly untouchable.

| Wigan have impressed me lately. I think they could be real grand final contenders. especially since Dodd and now possibly Lomax could be out injured for a while. Most of their squad man for man is probably no better than ours. But they play as a team and have a steely spirit. You notice this when they score a try.
Our team is the complete opposite. Little team spirit. If we were playing today and went behind like Wigan did in the second half we would have caved in.

Yes. Their togetherness and organisation is quite striking. Some very effective players though- Farrel showing how to play 2nd row. Tenacious in defence and fast and potent with ball in hand.

| Thought Saints might have got a cheap penalty for a high shot on Hurrell in the last play of the game, meanwhile the Kenney-Dowell 'try' looked far from conclusive to me - noting it went to the VR as a 'No Try' (not that it would have changed the overall result).
Oh well, all good TV drama !

Hardly any drama with the Kenney-Dowell decision, as the game was done and only a few minutes left on the clock. There was no real need for the VR, and Moore should just have backed his own judgement to stop unnecessarily extending the game waiting for someone else to make the call.
I was surprised that the tackle on Hurrell was not penalised, too.

You have gone and done it now.
The Sad one will be on here shortly, saying it was a conspiracy to prevent St Helens from winning a certain treble and that they were robbed.
