Happy days! Happy days! Is this the end for the Wids? Three years out is a long way off. I cant see MR Money Man hanging around with no real possibility of getting something for his money!

Feel a bit sorry for them really, although they dont deserve to be in due to the financial situation, we were in a similar situation not that long ago but luckily for us it didnt have the effect that it has had on Widnes

It is a shame and an extremely difficult decision to choose between CC, Salford and Widnes. In then end I'd have gone with what they have.
But Widnes if they can show sensible financial management over the next 3 years will be extremely well placed I would imagine when the next licences are up.
Wakefield would be in trouble I'd imagine if it doesn't further its ground plans by that stage. Its been promising a new ground for 10 years. Same goes if Cas, Salford stadium plans go south.
Celtic's ground is the main weakness and its location in a small former mining town. I would hope they will address the former over the next 3 years - one of the ideas of licensing is to enable teams to make longer term decision - build a ground knowing it has some stability.
it aint right at all?? weve lost a decent home game to a game gonna b all but empty especially in away end and probs 1 sided and basically boring yet no doubt we will still increase are tickets for next year cuz they are all greedy ba**ards who dont think about the fans at all
