*False Alarm*
Wrong number. Sorry guys, D'oh!

How does that work then, you mistakenly call dominoes and ask them is Martin gleeson going to wigan in return for mathers and goulding, they confirm that the deal has been done. Then you confirm it on here then realise you were talking to a fella working in a pizza shop?

If this was the old Wigan then cash would not have been an issue and they would have stumped-up whatever was needed to get what they wanted.
However with Leneghan in charge Wigan no longer have the clout to make things happen. They don't even have any assets to raise cash against with them just being a tenant at the DW Stadium. If we want cash for Gleeson we will have to deal with a club who isn't looking to do things on the cheap.
You could have the view if you were looking for ulterior motives that this is all a ploy by Wigan to deflect their fans' attention away from a start to the season that has included defeats at home to Wakefield, Castleford and Huddersfield. I wouldn't be suprised.

.
SALARY CAP. They could have 10 billion to spend but they would still need to lose players to fit Gleeson into theirs.

I can see where all this started now then. Gatcliffe has pressed the wrong speed dial number and asked if he could do a deal on 12 inch Focaccia with small fries and a hard of hearing leneghan offered mathers and goulding for a goodfella.

Exactly, thats why i asked for the Warrington Wolves Pizza special.
Apparently the Wigan Warriors Pizza Special is better, as you can get 2 Pizzas for the price of 1....
