So what is a "very Warrington" signing It could be
A) Prodigal Son. A player who has played for the club previously and cast into the wilderness who is then welcomed back to the club with open arms - Russell, King, Gleason or Dwyer? This could be Chris Hill, Cooper, Mulhern, George King
B) Phone or refer a friend. A player who is mates with an existing player who has recommended them Clark & Inglis or Ratchford & Russell.
C) Salary cap free shot in the dark. See Luther Burrell, upon signing has declared that they have always had a dream to have a go at Rugby League even though they have the aerobic capacity of an asthmatic ant - Vunipola / Marler
D) Spent force.. player who used to strike fear into the opposition but when they sign for us appear to have been given a kit bag containing Kryptonite. The list is endless but I reckon we could make Payne Haas, Jarred Warea Hargreaves and Regan Campbell Gillard look like Latu.
On a similar note I have never seen a period in my time watching when the club has such a revolving door. The number of players that have come in and then left and some have even come back and some have left again. It is a miracle that we made the top 6. Poor Bobby Moore has earned his money this last couple of years.
Holmes. In then out Minikin in then out Cooper - Out Mulhern - Out Davis - Out Charnley - Out king - out then in Hughes - out Wardle - in the out McGuire - in then out Mikeale - in then out, then in and out again Drinkwater - in Dufty - in Vaughan - in Harrison - in Crowther - In Dudson - in then out Kassiano - in Clark - Out Magoulias in then out Mata'utia in then out Widdop - Out Jason Clark - Out I am sure I have missed a few as well but that is a ridiculous turnover. I am sure a couple of years ago Saints didn't have any new signings in one particular off season.

It’s not ruddy Thompson and thank god….Thompson is a Warringtonesque signing but seems now Wigan have got money they might take on our mantle. Our money has been a strength and a huge weakness….looks like it might be the same for Wigan.
Few years ago Wigan fans were all for the salary cap and strangely now it’s holding the game back and needs scrapping, funny that.

Are we getting paul sculthorpe 15 years too late? Are we finally getting our boxing day signing?
A very Warrington signing for me Screams Matt Lodge. An absolute psycho who Physically should Be completely Dominant.......but isn't, and doesn't really want to come to the UK, but nobody else wants him so has no choice.............Or it's Ryan Bailey.
A typical wire signing. im getting vibes of a George King type coming back. For some reason a lot of players are unable to mature here so they get moved on. Only to return later like his brother.
