I agree about Okoro as he has yet to play at Super League level for us yet.

Wood looks ready although he is still young and Thomas was OK in the games he played and had put a lot of muscle on his frame, the last time I saw him.

There is no way we could fit any more than 6/7 established players who can play prop into the Salary Cap without it having a negative effect on the rest of the squad.

I agree with third man in counting as tackles been a bit misleading because by the time the 3rd man joins, the tackles pretty much completed.. if Yates is joining I fear for Philbin getting much game time next season..

you shouldn't be playing rugby at your age.

Loved the try today where Fitzgibbon did an about turn for the 2nd Dufty try.
Also he ran some really strong lines as decoy runner allowing others to score. Well done.

he runs such good angles, it gives that side of the pitch so much more room to work in.

Literally ever other play the ball down that side, has him running a dangerous line.

He is right up there as one of my fav NFL recruits.

Let’s assume these were Jack Brown and Sam Luckley seeking six figure per year contracts. Would Philbin be such a bad option then?

You assume correctly

Not clear why Bullock has been given a 2 year contract when he cant make the 21 unless injured - or the alleged fracas has something to do with it....

I do think he's a decent player.

Not the first one to make that comment, after my injury.. be back on the pitch before I know it..

Captain Hook wrote:You would think that our coach knows what to look for in a prop. He gave Wood a contract after he was released by Wigan. Can’t see that he has let anyone down so far. Compare and contrast to certain established props (eg 1 released on season long loan).

He might well know what he wants from a prop, but things have gone west with Bullock more times than I can count on one hand.
I question why we gave him a new contract.
He was on a heft contract to pluck him from Wigan, not sure he’s repaid a threepence of it yet.

I’m not harsh on Vaughan, I’m disappointed with Vaughan.

Unquestionably talented. Solid performer…

But I sigh at his ability to always find the softest of penalties to find himself enjoying the holidays out of term time.
