At the point where we look dire and have four points from a possible twelve? May I also point out that the current standard of SL is the worst it’s ever been in my opinion. We’ve basically beaten teams who are pretty crap (baring Catalans) teams who you would expect us to win against and actually lost to the more stronger teams in the league (Saints, Wigan, Leigh).

Not read all of this thread, but on the bright side -
- really pleased for Connor Wrench OK he got 2 tries, but the more important thing was he didn't look out of place. He doesnt carry the ball up as good as Russell. For his first game back I think he can be relieved and satisfied. He'll only get better.
- Matty Ashton took the ball up well in the early carries. He's a deceptively strong player. All arms and legs and difficult to tackle.
- Paul Vaughan did a lot of work as did Harrison and (in a short stint from what I could see) Bullock.
As a side I dont think we have the resilience we had at the start of the season and maybe the old Warrington 'misplaced confidence' reared it's ugly head. Anyway this is meant to concentrate on the positives so I'll shut up now.

Are you seriously calling for Powell to be sacked now, at this very point of his tenure?... Seriously?
If so, then I'm sorry, you need to put your phone away, go rest your head and come back when you have sobered up, because only a drunk or a moron would be wanting Powell fired at this point in time...
And so you aim towards the sky, And you'll rise high today, Fly away, Far away, Far from pain....

With respect Lefty Hudds Will fancy their chances against us even after the mullering they took today as Watson will be wanting a performance as he’s under pressure for a team many fancied for top 4 this season.
To the person who bagged my comments pre match… I hope you are humble enough to eat your words.
A truly abject performance today which was so predictable. We haven’t played well for weeks. The bubble has burst and DP needs to go. He’s not a good enough coach on many levels.
Warrington go get a proven winner and stop taking chances.

And replace him with who? Wellens, because Saints played well today? A popular choice at the time was Watson and look how his 3 year tenure has turned out so far at Huddersfield.
And how long are you going to give the new coach; 1 and a half seasons including the time taken to rebuild and mould the squad?
We were very poor defensively on the right edge, and Minikin looked like he'd done his training at Altrincham ice rink. Really should have had that game won at half time, given the amount of ball and field position we enjoyed. It felt like a SP side trying to barge over using brute force, as we had so little creativity with ball in hand when in Hull's 25. The second half we were just dreadful.
Good to see Wrench back, and his two tries will give him confidence for the coming games.
