Yep you are right. Happy days for the Negs ... who suddenly have so much to say ... if only we had listened.

Bloody awful...everywhere, on and off the pitch. Talk about a false dawn. We'll not make the play-offs...I wouldn't be confident of beating Wakefield now. The team is FULL of mediocrity and worst. Powell under pressure and I can't see how he turns this around. Gutless and clueless performance today, and for the last few weeks. How thoroughly depressing after what seemed like a brilliant start to the season.
Not going full "Powell out" just yet, but its going to need turning around very quickly.

We started the season like a team who had a point to prove after almost being relegated last season. Currently as we sit here today we have lost 4 of our last 6 Super League games and performances (the last two in particular) have been totally unacceptable and consequently fans are allowed to question some of the players and coaches ability.
So moving on. We lost Philbin after about one minute today & once again selected a forward sub. who, in the thick of the battle, we didn't want to risk. It shows a real weakness. We desperately need to get more back up in the forwards. We have other problems too ... but that is our priority.

Disappointing, and it's not been great bar a few games since Wigan. But I wasn't expecting it to be perfect, or even close to perfect and early season was a bonus really. We're top of the the league but there's still lots to work on. There isn't one single team that has been anywhere near to perfect yet either. As I've probably mentioned before, you can't just buy a team and expect it to run perfectly or near to perfect: the coach and team need an opportunity to respond.
If all goes badly we could get Paul Wellens in as they played some cracking rugby today.

I'm of the personal opinion that coaches and players should be constantly scrutinised, both in good and bad times, so I've nothing against discussing things sensibly, but when people start shouting for a sacking at this point, then I know that people have either had too much time in the sunshine, or that they are a complete muppet.
And so you aim towards the sky, And you'll rise high today, Fly away, Far away, Far from pain....
