No me neither. But I think his point on IMG and how little Sky pays is fair. Of course Sky will pay as little as possible and in the face of no competition this is not going to be very much.
I'm not sure how Leigh will get 250,000+ viewers for their own brand home games though.

I love it when Wakey fans froth at the mouth when you dare to say the name "Wildcats" accept it BLM as it's part of your history
I can accept opposition fans calling us Whinos even though the club were never actually re branded as that unlike the Wildcats were
Rhinos ,Wildcats ,Wolves , all names to suit sky marketing to get their sports channels off the ground. Probably an American leaning gimmick to give sky credibility across the pond. Hate them all.

Always been the Wire to me I have never used Wolves in public.
Wolves should have been dropped when they redesigned the badge to include "The Wire"* on it. In all the years of being branded as that, has there ever been one single chant that includes the word Wolves? I've honestly never heard one.

could you elaborate why?
In my view, he has passion for the game, and his intentions are to make the game/ product better for the good of our sport. If he sees any flaws by the IMG, or the RFL, he will call it out for what it is. Sly Sports are taking the p!$$, and he's right to call it out. Our sport needs to grow, and it won't by going in the direction that it is atm.
Warrington Wolves is a good marketing tool. I’m ok with it, but l will never just say “wolves” singularly. I think the club has it right, and welcome both club name and nickname.
No different to how we have it now to Kingston Rovers and Robins.
Plus we cannot get rid of Wolfie. The kids and people with special needs so love him. Pretty sure we are still officially Warrington RLFC that only trade as Warrington Wolves.

There was a Wire fan I used to see regularly in the south stand, he had an Aussie accent and occasionally wore an NRL top. I assumed he had lived over here for years and had adopted the Wire as his team. He used to randomly shout "go Wolves".
