That's not what Holbrook was at saints, i dont think woolf would have led them to the superleague title the season after Holbrook left if it wasn't for the covid break, woolf started a bit like wellens did this season. Holbrook set the pieces for the Saints 4 in a row winning the LLS in 2018 and then the LLS and superleague in 2019, happily they didn't win the challenge cup to complete the treble
, he was the one that turned them around, not only to be contenders but to be the best team by a long way. Woolf rode the wave to a degree IMO, certainly for the first season.
If our players buy in to his methods the way that the Saints squad did then he is an excellent choice. If they don't then we have way bigger problems than which coach we end up appointing now.
