Been very impressed with Holmes in the last couple of games I’ve seen him in. Him and Currie in the back row looks good to me.

I hope that Holmes would be in his preferred position in 2nd row. I want to see specialist props playing prop..... really big lads with plenty of 'go forward'...not fellas who are too lightweight to be playing in the front row.

I would imagine that Jason Clark will be retiring at the end of this season which leaves us a backrower down. I could see either Holmes or Hughes playing at 13 next season.

Yep, Hughes can miss one on ones in either position.

Holmes is a mobile second rower, hits the ball at pace and scores tries. No issue here at all.

I don't see what Matautia offers that we don't already have in Mamo. He is a guy who started as a full-back, didn't really work out there and is now a bit of a utility three-quarter. Difference being that Mamo is three years younger and in good form for us already. Don't get it.

I'd play him at 13. Been far better for me in the middle of the pitch than stopping attacking moves stone dead on the right.

I don't think Mamo cuts it in defence, maybe this has something to do with it.

That's questionable about Hughes
