Carney's has a record of playing 14 times for GB, 101 times for Wigan, a successful season in the NRL, 67 tries in his career at a rate of a try every other game and being picked for the SL Dream Team, despite turning to the sport at a relatively late age.

I guess Smith sees the value in this. You cannot compare Riley's and Carney's experience. I am sure if you ask Riley he is looking forward to learning from him.

How much does Tony Smith despise Stevo, and his ridiculous 'interview' technique??...

I really thought he was set to tell Stevo to go forth and multiply at one point, and it was glaringly apparent that Stevo thought this too, as he quickly shut up, and allowed Eddie to continue, and finish the interview.

I have got the feeling, over the last few weeks, that TS has little time for Stevo's bizarre, 'storm in a teacup'-style questioning techniques...

Every drill that they did though Rob, (I can think of some footwork stuff & actual 'training pitch XIII stuff' he was leading the way, very vocal.

I like him. He might not play much but I'd sooner see him as part of our setup than another SL club.

i'm not doubting your stats but are you telling me I should be impressed that in an 8 year career he scored 67 tries and made 134 appearances

and the Dream team bit impresses no one ....or at least it didnt count for anything when Kevin Penny got in when he had a try per game ratio....!

His greatest asset was taking work off the forwards by running from Dummy half for the majority of his carries....

He was a good winger dont get me wrong but even in his prime he wasnt exactly an exciting try scoring winger so I'm not about to get excited when he comes to us 2 years out of rugby League and 33 years of age......

and before anyone wants to point me in the direction of Wendell Sailor......dont bother....
