| Quote ="Dave Sharky"The performance was dire in the first half although to be fair i wasnt 100% watching the game, some guy threw up next to me just before the game and the commotion from the stewards trying to sort a cleaner for most of the first half was laughable'"
The stewards are useless. There was a load of chavs standing next to us, not interested at all in the game and just talking amongst themselves. The only time they came out of their white lightning induced comas was to cheer the fighting. And that of course was cue to start hitting the back of the ground with their hands (god help them if they do that in the game against Castleford, i'll ing cut off their hands!)
Stewards saw them sitting on the top railing against the back of the stadium, but didn't bother to do anything.

| Scoring in the first 2 minutes obviously made Wire think it was going to be a walkover, and we relaxed.
Referee didn't help with some of his strange decisions.
Thought Bridge played well and that King made some good yards, but we still seem unable to stop teams off loading in the tackle.
We looked good when we spread the ball, apart from the final pass, or the non pass in the case of Grix.
Clarke took his try well and made a couple of good tackles.
Player was sent off for trying to break Anderson's jaw with his elbow, and I presume that the "on report" was for the ensuing fracas.
Carvell made impressive yards and is difficult to stop, and with him and Morley playing on Friday, I am optimistic.
Did what we had to against a spirited but outclassed York, and we should build on that.

| We were ok. Often difficult games these, but every time we got the ball we did decent stuff with it, without being too flash.
We won by 46, and many on the predictions thread went for less than that.

| What was the red card for? I couldnt really see too well from where I was stood but it didnt look like a high challenge...obviously L.Anderson didnt like something though.

A bloke I was with thought it was for a trip, I thought it was for raising his elbow, although there wasn't much in it. It happened quickly though, and Anderson didn't like it so it may have been worse than it first looked.

| The first York try came from a forward pass, not just a marginal one, but at least 3 or 4 yards forward.
The players didn't seem to get out of second gear, but having said that, they didn't really need to.

| They didn't need to go all guns blazing as there's the busy Easter period to think about. They still showed some good bits of play and won by a clear margin.
Really pleased with Carvell's performance, and an opening stint of 34 minutes doesn't usually happen for a prop.

Genuine question, who is SBL or is that drunked Sonny Bill Williams. It's doing my head in trying to think of a SBL.

Ok, well the distance I can't guess, but it was more forward than Lloyd Christmas and a schoolboy
