I was there for this game, was there in the Semi Final also against Bradford, if only we could go one step further this year.

If we were drawn against another lower division club in the next round and a few more Super League teams got each another, i would fancy our chances of making the final this year.

If i remeber correctly Briers had had a couple of shocking weeks with the boot prior to this game but V York he kicked them from anywhere and didn't miss a single one even with it be heavy under foot.

The York game was played the week before SL started, and two weeks before the York game, we beat Hunslet in the previous round. We scored 8 tries and Briers kicked 7 goals. So not sure what you mean.

may have been a delayed start to second half but can't remember. fun days though.
