Absolutely, if it was one or the other, Cull was not far off getting the team to play at the highest level. he might not have won everything but it would have been a great ride, not like the crap we see week in week out out of late.

We did play some very good rugby under PC. Many games v Saints (although we lost them all ) and stellar performances against Leeds, Bulls (notably play-offs a couple of years ago ) come-back against Hull at home when they hardly got into our half of the pitch in the second half, Widnes away when we sent them down, several games against the Pies and many more. We simply lacked the ability to nail teams when it counted.
