I think Jimmy comes across really well in that interview and knows they've got to work hard to get out of the mess - and that confidence is a key thing.

I like the guy - he comes across as a decent bloke. That doesn't mean to say I think he's the right coach for us or even a good coach but (a bit like Karl Fitzpatrick) a guy you could have a good discussion about league with over a pint.

I also think he's spot on regarding a small portion of the 'fans' - some of whom frequent this forum I fear.

Whether he and the coaching staff and players are up to it or not, none of them should be subject to personal abuse.

They want to win as much as us - for most of them it's their livelihood and part of a short career.

It would be great if 'fans' could cut out the abuse. Criticism is OK but not when it turns into abuse.

Could not agree more.

Remember last season against Bradford seeing some idiot come running down the south stand steps to the side of the wall so he could give the touch judge a right mouthfull. Steward stood feet away and did nothing.

This was one step away from this idiot jumping the wall and possibly assaulting the touchie. Imagine the trouble for the club and the reputation of Wire fans in general if this had happened.

Stewards need to be more involved.

Lowes is right. Personal abuse is wrong. Then again. So is threatening people with physical violence. I'd be interested to hear his views on that.

We had a similar discussion on atother thread after the Cats game. Nobody is happy with the situation, but nobody sets out to lose a game on purpose - and the day I see someone lose on purpose will be the day I boo a player on my team.

Unfortunately, as far as steward intervention goes, it often only serves to make a drunken gobshite worse. I suspect they mostly hope that if they leave them to rant for a minute or so, they'll eventually calm down/get tired/fall over in a drunken heap.

And we're always the last when the cream is shared out

right, i didn't go on friday night, can someone who did, please clarify whether the incident after the game whether it was wakefield or warrington fans that were involved in it?

Or were any warrington fans situated near to the dug out or where ever he was sat at the end of the game, as i've not heard/been made aware of any incidents with Mr Lowes and warrington speccies.

yet.

In fairness Lowes points out his game plan.

If we stop the crappy dropped balls on the opponents line & gave away less penalties then we'd have the ball more & use it better & for longer. The opposition can't score if we have the ball.

The fact he's happy with the worst defence in the league is another conversation altogether.

It's only a matter of time. Some of our fans are real tools. A few years ago it was all about the best fans in the game, now we are fast becoming an embarrassment.

I have noticed a turning, especially since we left Wilderspool.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.
