If we show another half hearted not interested performance and people dont step up to the plate could that be the end of LOWES and his coaching team?

Surely he has given them the rounds of the table and told them this must stop of things will change ie so called start players sitting on the bench where they deserve to be etc.

Just a wee note on the Hanley saga i honestly dont think he would come here,he will be waiting to see what happens with Mr Noble as im sure they would go for him.

My view is if the board let this go on too long the club will go into decline. People are thinking twice about spending their hard earned dosh now , going to a game is a luxury for many.
They must realise how important it is to make a tuff decision and move on

After the way they dithered with Cullen, I have little faith in that.
If and when we get a world class coach I would hope they have the nuts to quickly replace the players that have been the hallmark of our underachievement rather than fawning over them and basing our whole game plan around them.

We don't have any halfbacks so I wouldn't worry.

From a 1st hand view point you will meet a committed, passionate and very dangerous side!
With drew, demetriou and the pack lead by stosic they have plenty of fire in their bellys and if you lot perform how you did against catalans you'll get beat up and outplayed.

Thanks for that.

Could you possibly update me on the religious persuasion of the Pope? Word on the street is that he's Catholic?

When we get beat on Friday it will be last chance, when Leeds beat us convincingly at home then heads will roll.

We'll pick and chose our Wire games this season. We walked away from the Hull KR friendly (early, after a crap 2nd half) and I said "that's why I wouldn't pay £550 for equivalent season tickets to watch that shower".

A fair example I suppose of why the general management at the club should be nervous and why the board directors should be feeling ashamed.

There are others on this board who have packed it in season ticket wise and plenty in town who have done the same, I know of eight people who this year will be cherry picking their games because it's the same old same old.

Back to the question. NO, heads won't roll anywhere as the coaching team has only just been appointed so they will have to be seen to be given a chance (I know). The players are the players we are stuck with for the season so they won't change and the board and business managers will just drift on serenely because things are comfortable for them and turkeys obviously won't vote for christmas. It comes down to Simon M - what he wants to happen will happen, he owns the club so he has the biggest and final say.

Im hoping for a convincing Wakey win on Friday.

Before you start avin a go, the reason being is that any victory for the wire will just paper over the massive cracks.

Jimmy lowes and his band of merry men are out of their depth and need to be replaced asap. A win on friday will delay that departure.

Edited for accuracy again: No player is all that special if you close them down it's just that Drew takes more closing down than most due to the fact that he plays smart.

You batter our forwards and Drew by himself will be overwhelmed, with Obst he stands more of a chance but it's marginal. If you don't do this it's your pack that is faulty because without Moore and Sculthorpe we are fairly light weight at the moment.

Wakefield are as beatable as they are ever likely to be this season at the moment due to injuries. I can easily see you winning this but at the same time you could just as easily lose it - it's very open IMHO.

Personally I think Drew is an excellent player. Very intelligent and instinctive reader of the game.

The only way Wire will lose on friday is if Ian Smith is ref.
It does'nt matter how many Wakey have missing, those coming in will have been deemed good enough to play at SL level.Wire by 6 for me.
