He's in my bad books right now, I'm pretty down on him. He makes daft errors, then seems to compound them in the next set by giving away a penalty to follow it up. He may have been down in energy, he wasted some trying to clobber somebody in the first half which I didn't understand why ?

Louis has had better season than most but yesterday he was the boil as for Vinnie never seen him have stand out game for Warrington

except that cup game against some no-marks when he was the only fit first teamer available (that wasn't a prop forward) so played in 3/4 positions at once, even kicking in general play!

His debut against Wigan he was superb, long time ago mind. The Saints fans were spot on when they let him go, he's ok when the team are 20-30 points up but when we are up against it, he goes missing. Can't see TS keeping him beyond this season.

What about when we are not up against it and are 4 points ahead... for example?

He still flatters to decive. You think he's worth keeping hold of then?

IMO they both aren't good enough. They are out of contract at the end of the season and haven't done enough to warrant new contracts, get shut of.

I think the main thing with Vinnie is that nobody seems quite sure what he's supposed to be, if you get my drift...



Is he a ball-player?, is he a bulldozer type player?, is he a tackling machine?.....To be honest, he seems to be a Jack of all these trades, but not quite the master of any.

New contract?...No, its time to find a proper Sinfield/Sculthorpe sort of back rower, who is capable of leading the team, and dominating the game.

Neither of the Andersons respect the football enough, which is a sin. The team must defend half a dozen extra sets a game because of this. In terms of work ethic, I have no issue with Vinnie, I do think Louis could do more, but my issue with Vinnie is his desire to offload in impossible situations. I also don't think he looks anywhere near as threatening as he used to, the first season we had him, he was scoring full length tries & good tries closer to the line, this seems to have gone from his game.

In fairness to Vinnie, when he first turned up, he was running off in the back row area, he seems to have move further infield the longer he has been with us.

Did his job well yesterday which was a no frills second row. TS gave him a game plan and he pretty much stuck to it. yes, he dropped a couple of balls through trying to offload but on the whole was safe if not spectacular.

Louis was going to get a bit of a bashing but since yesterday, found out he was playing off his sickbed so give him due credit for even doing that.

Whether both are good enough for another contract is another story, who knows, long time to go yet in this season for opions to change.

For me, that has no bearing on him giving daft penalties & needless offloads away. If he was less forceful with ball in hand, or missed a few more tackles than usual, i'd make allowances. He was no more error prone than usual.

It looked like he got the hook for being crap anyhow, Error, Penalty in the next set, OFF.

He can be alot more dangerous and effective in attack if he was playing around the fringes. Rather than a donkey down the middle.
