Fantastic player for us in both stints, he absolitely has to be right up there as one of our very best academy products of the superleague era.

Wish him well in his retirement, we should be really grateful for all of his efforts in the pnb.

I'd be very interested in an impartial account of what happened at the end. Whatever it was, it was very sad that a genuine Warrington lad, product and stalwart ended up leaving the club under a cloud in the middle of the dismal Powell era. Especially since Wigan then did what they always do and claimed him as one of theirs.

Wish him every success in what comes next (unless it is : Wigan coach).

he ended up being unfortunate collateral damage in the Powell clear out era (which we absolutely needed).

Great servant for the club. Loved Cooper right from the start.. That season he came back from Australia, was the peak for him i think, he was quality.
