I’m asking the questions Smithy27 because he isn’t hitting to mark as he was last season.
Burgess said something that raises an eyebrow.

He said Harrison is his first pick.
I may be reading in to it, but Vaughan isn’t giving us 100% imo, because if he was, Burgess wouldn’t be saying things like that.

No player is bigger than our club, and if I think someone is holding something back, I’ll question their accountability.

The stats may show him favourable as wires71 said, but being top meter maker at 80m for eg, and you know he could be a 100m+, then he’s holding back for some reason.

Perhaps I am over playing it, but I’ve seen more from him.

Thanks. I thought it seemed a bit strange when I wrote it ...duff info. Good job I didn't send him a birthday card, I suppose we thought Rodrick Tai would give us the power we wanted at centre. Certainly Salford centres are both a real threat.

Saw Rodrick Tai play in the Reserves at Victoria Park before the Leigh home game.

He certainly has a lot of power as do most players from Papua New Guinea.

His defensive reads and positioning were poor in that game,

Think there’s a bit too much being read into these little sound bites offed up by Burgess. King was being hung from the town hall gates a few weeks ago because according to some posters he was refusing to play. But has come back in and started since then. Now there’s a Vaughan issue because Harrison received some praise for his form, despite Vaughan having earned his starting spot back.

Vaughan is doing fine, yes not as dominant as we would like, but sometimes we won’t have it our own way. Of the forwards, only Walker topped him on meters. Largely due to the break he made. If he grounds that ball and wins it, this conversation never happens.

Vaughan has clocked up over 1000m @ 8.68m average gain this season and that's with missing games.

Harrison 907m @ 7.43m.

Not sure what else you want from him?

If vaughan had scored that try duckie i doubt you'd be saying anything other than he's great, he's been brilliant as usual so far this year.

I always thought this. Let's hope Sam doesn't clam up & start saying virtually nothing.

Lose on Friday and the wheels have def come off as that’s the worst Hull side I’ve seen in twenty years plus.
