Simple is often best (especially in the first few weeks when nobody knows anyone elses strengths or weaknesses). Eight buckets, eight sponges (hence negligable outgoings) and in pairs tour offices with car parks doing a cheap and cheerful wash for £5 a car (we're talking London prices, so pretty cheap). If each pair averages 4 cars an hour (which is a conservative estimate) equals £20 an hour. Working for ten hours equals £200. Four pairs so total income £800.
