Yeah, I did too. I'm not his biggest fan, but I thought he was impressive last night, with ball in hand at least. To be fair, I thought his brother was pretty good too, same thing, the offensive side of his game anyhow, that he ran some good lines at pace.

I thought Higham stank to tell you the truth, i'm surprised people have him on here as impressing, his error count was poor, his discipline was poor and I thought last night was one for the Clarke camp really. His solidity in the middle was missed, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Lowes 'axe' fall on Higham next week.

Bridge went okay, nothing flash, nothing or nobody went through him. They didn't attack him, which I was surprised with, I think it says something about him that they targetted our GB centre instead.

I thought individually most of the team tried hard. Its just as a team that they didnt perform. Now that could be down to poor tactics or the wrong blend of players.

Thinking back to the Wire just before Jonny Davies joined us, we were much the same, trying hard but going nowhere - but he was the catalyst which made it all happen.
