Probably my favourite. Loads of stuff already mentioned but anything written by Chris Morrison (Brass Eye, Jam, Nathan Barley), QI, most Partridge (Saxondale gets funnier each watch)

The golden comedy oldies that stick in my mind are 'The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin', 'Fawlty Towers' & 'Rising Damp'. A little later, but I always liked 'Sorry' too ("Langauge Timothy").

Non comedy would be 'Twin Peaks' and 'GBH'. Until recently GBH was available on the Virgin Media On Demand service so I managed to watch the complete 11 (or so) hours of it. Just as good as I remembered with a rollercoaster ride for the emotions. Early appearances too from several modern day established stars, including a naked Amanda Mealing (Connie Beauchamp in Holby City)
