So is everyone up for this?
This is the place I'm thinking of:
http://www.connollysofchiswick.co.uk/index.htm

I'll check with the people there and post some details on Thursday if so.

The only problem with that is, Chiswick's bloomin miles away. I'm based in Elephant and I imagine there are others who're closer in, so somewhere more central might be an idea.

(Also anywhere that does real ale would be a bonus, I can't be drinking larger all night. Well I could but I'd prefer not to!)

Elephant to Chiswick isn't that far, in London you need to get used to travelling a bit.

Get the underground to Waterloo and a 15 minute train ride Chiswick, piece of p*ss

It's been fun.

Is it? From taking a look, Chiswick looked a bit more of a trek than that. Well you're the one who's been here longer so I'll take your word on it.

Golden Lion in soho will show RL if nothing else is clashing. Even watched boots and all in there. Plus they do real ale.

Sounds like my kinda place. You're a font of knowledge on this sort of stuff, amazing there's not been a London cabal earlier! Obviously I won't be coming to any meeting this Friday, as I'll actually be at the game, but after that (excluding the GF if we make it) I'll be along.

It's more like 25 minutes to Chiswick mainline from Wloo and then it's either a 10 minute walk to the High Road or just catch the E3 bus - so a 2 minute bus ride.

I live near the mainline station so I can direct you easily from there.

The other travel option for Chiswick is Gunnersbury station on the London Overground line - it is a couple of minutes walk to the pub from there for those heading in from East / North London.

I haven't contacted the pub yet but will do so tomorrow and post on here but if they will put it on - how many are in for Wires Round London in Chiswick? Horatio - I'm game if you are if it's just you and I!

My only reservation about Central London pubs is that often they don't have the TV on at weekends or the places are packed so isn't really convivial for match watching. There is a good pub behind Goodge St. tube that was popular with Leaguies called the Hope. If someone wants to check whether they will put it on (with sound) then I'm happy to head there if that's better for everyone else.

Oh and on the lager point. I don't drink lager either so don't worry the Pride is good around Chiswick as it's a stones throw to the brewery.
