Surely that's a good way of offsetting his wages so they don't all count towards the cap?
Do the club get any dispensation for being the age he is?
We could have Kevin the club Locksmith. Menzies the club newsagent. Dixon the club copper. Tommy Lee the club drummer.

Moz mentioned in an interview on Devil In Detail podcast he would like to get into the admin side of the game when he retired .this appears to be the the 1st step in that direction.Good luck to him in his new role.

Hansen plays less games than Hock through various injuries picked up throughout the season and wont be on the pitch anywhere near enough.
If Mozza decided to play on, he should have stayed captain. Simple as that. Bad management for me.
I gained the impression that Adrian Morley had willingly surrendered the captaincy so he could give his full attention to the playing side of things as well as the rudiments of the role of General Manager. I thought it was a superb choice in allowing HH to be the captain.
I was already at the point of reminding myself of the old saying,'With friends like these who need enemies' and I am shocked a normally excellent poster like yourself has joined the others.
Have a read of THIS,remind yourself that Iestyn Harris lost himself a lot of money with the leed/Bradofrd/agent/solicitor brouhaha so rumours of his need/obsession with money is rubbish;he could get a job anywhere and if he is spineless he wouldn't have stuck around at Crusaders under those 2 owners and Rod Findlay.
Pleased I'm getting out of it.

I'd have thought more than Moz has decided too give his new off field position and final year of playing his full attention rather than being stripped.
I can't think of anyone better suited to being the captain than HH, like Mozza he leads by example and I'm pretty sure the younger players will look to him for guidance.

You 'gained the impression' he surrounded the captaincy, oh well that's ok then. In that case I 'gained the impression' Morley was p*ssed off and very disappointed that he has had the captaincy taken off him. It makes absolutely no sense to me in changing the captain from Morley who is a worldwide renowned and respected RL player, who commands instant respect from all the players. You only have to listen to how the players speak of him to understand the respect and honour they have for the bloke, even Kevin Locke 'Super Leagues marquee' signing spoke of his admiration for our current captain.
I have nothing against Hansen, he will make a good captain but don't tell me he is a better choice in 2015 than Morley because he quite simply isn't.
PS - this general manage role to me sounds like a sweetener as in "Sorry were taking the captaincy off you, basically it means nothing and comes with no added responsibilities but were giving you this new title instead so you don't get too p*ssed off with us."
Fortunately Mozza is the model professional who I imagine will continue to leading the team next season, captain or not.
