Talking about past players the other day and I mentioned Paul. He worked with me as a welder in Hull when he played for Hull FC. A smashing bloke and always good for a laugh, (maybe thats why he signed for FC  }. Anyone know about him today?

Had the best side step or two that I've ever seen from a full back, going old school he never failed to make the 25 yard line from a kick off! Quality player!

Probably driving a taxi somewhere in Salford now!

this will not be the end, or even the beginning of the end.
It is merely the end of the beginning

He sure did. I went to primary school with Paul, and enjoyed watching him play for his home town club. He almost made it to the very top level. A really nice fella, and I last saw him in The Barton Arms around 4 years ago. Pretty sure he wasn't driving a cab for a living at the time

Used to knock about with Paul in the past, played against him a number of times him for Hope and me for Clarry, last time I heard he was coaching at Eccles RLFC, but that was a few years back.

Last time i saw him was after the last game of the 2002 season (I think -when we were relegated after losing to Cas)

me and my sister whooped him and Keith Bentley and Paul kept his promise to show his booty if we beat them. Not pretty!
