It's not the QF, it's the round that was played last weeked. The winner will play Catalans in the QF. Hull didn't get that punishment a few years back because the RFL had forgotten to write any punishments into the rules

If by any unthinkable way that Swinton did get to Wembley then i would give my final ticket away.

Pretty much sums up the embarrassment that is the governing body of this sport.

Wigan's breaking the "spirit of the cap" and Hull being allowed to continue in the CC a couple of years ago really highlight the amateurs working behind the scenes in rugby league.

I think it's even more outrageous that the RFL appear to have awarded the cup to Hull for that year even though they were beaten by Saints in the final.
