Great display from the lads particularly in defence, too many mistakes when we were in good attacking positions, but against lesser teams that performace will earn us a win. Not one mistake under the high ball, and the kicking game was better, just lacked some momentum in the forwards. Perhaps Cashmere would have made a difference, but Sidlow had a mare, didnt run his weight and for a lad his size, he should. Malc tackled like a machine, as did Swain and Adamson. Houldsworth looked good as a pairing with Ratchford. All in all enjoyed the game, beated by the Bradford scrum half, whom I am sure kicked every single ball on the fifth, lets hope he doesnt get injured as they'll be in real trouble!
Don't agree with you on Sidlow he put in lots of work tonight. Talau , Gibson and Swain were standout IMO . We need to be more clinical and expansive (Like at Leeds !) Shed was buzzin' and must have spurred the team on. How was Malc MOM is he awarded it by default if no-one "stands out" ?
WELL DONE REDS , BUT COME ON LETS GET SOME POINTS ON THE BOARD , AND THE LEAGUE TABLE !

We need to do some serious work on improving the yards we make in a set of six. I'd like to see the stats but I woudn't be surpised if we were only averaging about 30 yards a set. It's been noticeable in all four games so far. We seem to always pass 5-8 yards wide of the play the ball to a man stood a few yards back and not really running on to it - opponents have been laying flat passes onto men running on to the ball - it makes a huge difference.
We are nothing like deep enough - the ball is going across the line (stops with Stuart though) to men who are standing still.
No moves again - no dummy runners, pi$$ offs, run arounds and our tactics are easy for an opposing coach to combat.
That said the effort was terrific and the defence better though I would like to see them move up much faster.
Malcolm has to be a second rower now away from acting half back. His service is getting slower by the week and nothing is being created from dummy half. Why oh why was he on for the first 60 minutes? Is it something to do with being Coach`s assistant - if it is then its defo wrong imo.
Alker has never been a good hooker, great tackling machine and whenever moved into back row can run a good line and split a defence. However his distribution from acting half is pedestrian and he handles the ball like a brick. Should have introduced a quality hooker years ago either by giveing Cloughy or Turner a good run at that position.
To be fair thought Malc had a good game, maybe not quite mom but not far off. Think the hooking position has changed so much, been as a neutral to a few games this year and with players like Monaghan, Leuleui and L'estrange hookers are just much quikcer and more skillfull.
Thought we did ok tonite, solid and the few occasions we did throw it about caused them problems (the move to set reatchford through particularly). Win next week is certainly on the cards if we play like that.
Agree with most of the points on here. If we can get a fit Ray Cashmere back in the team, our overall yardage will improve. And as the title says, if we manage that defence and effort level next week, we will win. Come on Solly!
