WTF is happening within our club ?
The chairman (whom I have a lot of respect for) has NOT (as far as I'm aware) spoken out in support of this years squad.
Steve Simms blurts out the usual drivel.
McRae insists that he has compiled a squad strong enough to compete.
And yet, we have lost the first two games of the season, and in the process.........
1. conceded 2 tries in the first few mins of both games 2. looked very uncertain at the back 3. look to have a very weak pack 4. appear to be heavily dependant on Houldsworth 5. have a poor kicking game 6. can't deal with the bomb 7. look clueless in attack 8. look clueless managerially 9. look totally unprofessional 10. made a Crusaders side who before tonight had scored twice and conceded 12 or 13 times in 2 games, look like worldbeaters.
I have always maintained that the players who pull on the Salford jersey are far better than I ever was, but surely everyone can see that something is (as is the painful norm) horribly wrong at our beloved club.
Finally, even with a few beers inside me to numb the pain, I'll stand up and be counted enough to say as follows:
Let me coach them, as I certainly couldn't do a worser job

You seriously think you could coach the side?

If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.
