As we are having a discussion at the moment regarding the spirit in the shed. i would like to ask the question of the best song sung. Mine would be, " so cum on salford reds". whats yours?
I like we dont like bill and we dont like ben...... but the most I have enjoyed a chant in the shed is the year we got relegated last home game of the season where we did stand up if u love salford then sit down if you love salford for at least 20min thats one of the best atmosphere's in a game I have experienced

I know hes long gone, but the "ohh Richie Myler, the only man in Widnes with a full time job" was a stroke of genius when sang in the friendly against them just as their fans were giving us a load of poop.
Yorkshire red takes the credit for that one

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr

The Tommy Martyn (He's old, he's slow, his knee's about to go) and Alex Murphy (he's old, insane, he's p*ssed himself again) songs from the old days of stuffing Leigh were amusing.

"we're in to assorted bread products, your interbread, We're into assorted bread products, your interbread We're into assorted bread products, your interbread We are the salford city reds, city reds, city reds "
A Karioke steve classic which is so underused.

I thought the songs about individual players, like 'Baynes will tear you apart' were pretty good. Unfortunately, I suspect that this year we're more likely to hear songs about ex-players, like '#### off Myler, #### off Myler'
