Hi folks me again on about Stretford High School, but you had lots of kind words last time so I thought Id update you.

We had our first home games today, both Yr 7 and Yr 8 played Wright - Robinson. We lost about 36-0 and 42-4 but that wasnt the surprise as it was the first game for Yr 8 and only the second for Year 7. Its just great we have teams turning out in Manchester who are now all becoming Salford fans!

Anyway, the surpirse was we had a Yr 8 football match tonight too. We have 18 players turn up to play rugby and only 7 for the footy!!!! As a result some lads had to go help out the footy lads to make up the team!!! NO IDEA how that happened but it did.

Dont bother with your new ground, at this rate you can have Old Trafford soon


Year 9 and 10 start next wednesday.
The Salford Reds are delivering rugby league in PE lessons and after school to help me and are being fantastic so I couldnt thank them enough.

I've had a bobbins day. That's got me back on track, cheers.

Great to hear the help you are getting from Salford's community team is good & appreciated, they are really going great with getting into schools in Manchester & deserve a massive round of applause, with their input who knows , the rewards may be reaped with new fans coming through to watch our great game.
