Massively flattered by the score.
No imagination, no kicking game, players on the pitch who just should not be there, missed tackles.
Same old same old.

the score has made the game look close!!!
interesting comments from the slug as usual on gmr!
i.m.o the amount of pens we are giving away lately is a joke(the refs are not to blame 80% of the time),yet again there seems to be a lot of unrest in the dressing room, players body language/avin a go at each other on the pitch after mistakes etc is a big worry again, danny brough ran the show tonight with his kicking tonight...JUST LIKE STEPH DID AGAINST SAINTS!!!! far from our worst performance of the season<pls pls pls mr slug try a few new players next week wtf have we got to lose!!!
moan over
keep the faith
anyone know tonights 5 figure crowd?nice vocal following from wakey too
IF WIDNES DESERVE A PLACE IN SUPER LEAGUE.......THEN THE POPE IS JEWISH!
All in all a bit of a shocker. How we got to within 6 of Trinity i dont know. How a supposedly professional sports team can be so ill disciplined is beyond me. I was stood in the shed and the shed seemed to blame the referee all night but guys we gave him all the encouragement in the world to penalise us.We dropped the ball with alarming regularity and as for the short kick-off,well that killed us after we got back in the game. Tonight we looked shapeless, leaderless and like we had already called the season done and dusted. Too many underperformed tonight and in a game based on territory if you continually give it away you will be punished. Poor all round really

Attendance was 3 151 according to SKY.
Wakefield fans hardly made a sound until their try on 49 minutes, although they were still far louder than our fans.
I agree the scoreline flattered us but Brough was the only really difference between the teams.
If we had Myler in the kind of form he was earlier in the season, and cut out some of the ridiculour number of penalties, we may well have stood a chance.
Got frustrated with the ref in the second half who seemed to be blowing up every 30 seconds, but then both teams gave him plenty of excuses to do so.
A very forgetable game all round.

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

Personally, I think the score massively flattered us.
Three ongoing gripes of mine about us in games this season:
- on attack - very flat most of the time and very little running on to the ball.
- on defence - too much grabbing round the body and too little taking the legs.
- discipline - far too many stupid penalties conceded.
The game, will coment on later, but some of the fans need a slap, was with my two little lads tonight so didnt stand in the shed until it started to rain , so moved there in second half, there were qite a few lads stood at the front of the shed calling nearly every player wan*ers and they should f-off , wtf robby got more poop than he probably has had since he started to play the game, even big phil got loads, kept seein fitz lookin back at the shed shakin his head in discust, how do people expect the players to get motivated with that kind of poop shouted to em, discusted with what i have heared tonight aimed at most players.
Poor game which wasn't even close. The mood in the Shed seems to be reflected on the pitch. It was a very lacklustre 'season's pretty much over' type performance.
Cashmere and Leuluai both stood out as our top performers.
You could tell it was going to be one of those nights when we lost the ball on the first set, although I thought it was a ball steal at the time. You're not going to be able to win games when you're knocking on from the base of a scrum and knocking on right in front of the opponents line as well.
Our attacking kicking near their line was shocking as well other than Myler producing a carbon copy of his kick to McGilvray from against Huddersfield a couple of weeks ago.
We seriously need to sort out the indiscipline though - it's costing us a lot of field position in games too often.
Really wish we had a player with a kicking game as good as Danny Brough's.
