I see Andy Ballard has now joined the Barra' revolution along with 4 others. Looks like their trying to make a real fist of it and I for one hope they do well but I'm dubious about splashing the cash like they have done, for one reason, if they don't make the GF will the money dry up and they'll be left with wages they can't pay and we see another great club going belly up?
And I was looking at what's happened over the past week there. They were in NL2 last season (shame as we missed out on a trip up there) now they've just been in their 1st final since ? they lie 2nd in the Championship table and what do they do, demote the coach Is this a chairman who see Barrow as a toy and is having fun at the moment but will he tire of it further down the line?
Mind you thats a decent squad they've asembled for that league. Jamie Rooney, Gary Broadbent, Paul Noone, Ned Catic, Zeb Luisi, Andreas Bauer to name a few and now they've added Two bobs, Ballard, Allen, Halliwell & Coyle

Well it seems to have paid off in the short term.
Barrow 74 Leigh 6.
I`m not sure whats going on at Barrow but from what I can gather the Oldham players were offered without signiing on fees and are at Barrow till the end of the season.
They need to add numbers to their squad if their going to compete with Fax and Widnes at the business end of the season, considering where they are in the table its a good move.

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book
