This board is for decent RL debate. If you 're going to post non RL messages make sure you put "OT" in the topic title, and if you're going to post stupid, pointless, personally offensive, messages loosely related to RL then go and do it elsewhere.
People have complained about the quality of debate recently with the number of brainless comments being posted. People who continually post boring, irellevant, brainless drivel run the risk of being banned.
The management reserve the right to ridicule people using text speak.

DO NOT COPY NEWS STORIES DIRECTLY FROM OTHER WEBSITES.
This is something which is rearing it's head again and is happening across the network - copying news stories from other websites in full.
This is copyright theft and is illegal. The consequences could be as extreme as the enforced closure of ScarletTurkey.com or/and the RLFANS.com network.
This includes copying stories from the Reds official site too. It's not fair on the authors who have spent time writing the text on the website only for somebody to lift it in whole and place it on here.
Examples for quoting from other websites
1) Post a direct link to the item
Code:
[url]http://www.reds.co.uk/news237.html[/url]
2) If you feel you must quote from the story, do something like this:
Code:
[quote="Reds.co.uk"]Salford fans will have the fantastic opportunity to meet their engage Super League heroes when Tim Jonkers and Tim Hartley make an appearance at the ASDA store in Trafford Park[/quote]
[url=http://www.reds.co.uk/news237.html]Click here for the full story[/url]
Which will turn out like this:
Reds.co.uk wrote:Salford fans will have the fantastic opportunity to meet their engage Super League heroes when Tim Jonkers and Tim Hartley make an appearance at the ASDA store in Trafford Park

Right, there seems to have been an increase in people spamming the board recently. The only "spamming" that will be excepted is for RLFans Radio. Everything else will be removed from the board and anybody who persists in doing so may well be banned.
Can I request that people try and refrain from quoting huge chunks of text repeatedly please? For example...

I make this that from our 14 home games.... we will need floodlights at some point in the game..... 11 TIMES
Personally..... I think to play at this level, and have to play part of the game in what seems like the dark, is unacceptable.
Forget that we are planning on moving.... it needs resolving.
So..... YES.... we need to sort it before the start of the season.
If you've got this much free time on your hands, I've got a stack of things need doing round our house - you could pop round and lend a hand!?!?!?!
But this is the sort of thing people have to do to get other people listening
Instead of quoting LoyalFan's post again again, could people just edit the quote so that appears something like this maybe? :

And if someone does make a long post, like LoyalFans above, then perhaps people could just refer to the poster in their reply instead of quoting them (or just quoting the small bit of text they are referring to instead of the entire passage).
Not having a go at anyone, it's just that things like the above make the board very hard to read for a lot of people so could we please keep other users in mind when quoting please? Cheers.
