if the chairman sells one of the best young players that english rugby league has come across since the great andy gregg and does not replace him with quality and i mean someone better than briers , then he should walk away, and let someone who cares about the club take over , otherwise we will be on a downward path to nowhere , if you look at the likes of leigh and widnes they are in a much stronger position than salford with there new stadiums , what have we got nothing now not even our own ground , so mr wilky the choice is yours , spend most of the myler money on quality talent or call it a day , i am sure the club will continue no matter what you decide

keep the faith

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

1) The Chairman doesn't buy/sell players.

2) He's been saying for years that if someone else out there is willing to come in, spend a fortune for the club, has the best interests of Salford RLFC at heart and can do a better job than him, he'll step aside. No one, I repeat, no one has been willing to come in.

3) You can't sign 'quality players' if they don't want to come and play for Salford RLFC.

I'm logging off here now for today, I'm sick of repeating myself...

So why are they not knocking on the door

We have all this garbage at Leigh about people ' with money ' wanting to come in and it is always the same , just talk

If they havent got the balls to come out into the open and talk to the present owmer then they certainly aren't the sort of people you want running your club

2 theres plenty who can do a better job , 27 years in charge =no trips to wembley and no league titles
3 you can sign quality players if the money is right ,any top player would come if the cash was right
