Injured ankle last week should be back for the Huddersfield Giants game on Friday.

Let's hope Luke Adamson decides to stay with the Reds for many years to come, in fact I see him as a future capain of our club plus hopefuly England head-caoch Tony Smith will give Luke his chance at International level in the very near future.

I don't want to hold Luke back and deny him an international cap but Tony Smith can keep his grubby mitts off for now. Leave the lad alone... we don't want another Myler do we!!!!

By the way, Warrington fans are talking about Smith as a World class coach. Didn't look so World class in oz in Novemebr did he

I think it's safe to say Luke Adamson will be staying on board at the Willows.

His agent Mr Martin Offiah seems to be doing a good job on behalf of Luke at this time and the word on the street is that Luke is staying a Red.

It came as a surprise to me that Martin Offiah is Luke Adamson's agent.

Along with lots of posters on this message board, I had become increasingly annoyed by what I thought Martin Offiah was doing to stir things up with regard the Myler negotiations. I thought the fuss was down to him and his way of negotiating. Though I don't know the ins and outs of what is going on on, I'm now thinking that I may have been wrong. As an agent he has to get the best deal he can for his clients and I can live with that. It's his job. He certainly hasn't done any apparent stirring as far as Luke Adamson is concerned and I hope Luke signs his new contract as soon as possible.

Perhaps the Richie Myler fuss has been stirred up by the media and Martin Offiah has merely been answering questions he has been asked and the press and TV people have been reporting them in their different ways. Richie Myler must be regarded as much higher profile than the others because of his England appearances. I suppose that's at the heart of it.

As a Salford fan excited by the best crop of youngsters I've ever seen at the club, I would be equally sorry to see any of them go. For me we still need to be trying to build a team around the likes of Myler, Ratchford, Adamson, Turner, Sidlow etc. Each and every one of them could contribute a massive amount to a successful future.

I hope they do.
