Who's slagging him? We all understand the reasons why Richie might choose to leave Salford and join a team who can offer him obscene wages and the prospect of challenging for silverware, however it does not mean we have to agree with them.

Staying with Salford for another three years would aid his development far better than leaving now and following the bright lights of Warrington. We all know what reaction you get from Warrington fans when things are not going the way they like, could you imagine a few bad performances from Richie coupled with some defeats and the boo boys would have his head on the chopping block. He is playing with no pressure at all at the moment and that for me is one of the major reasons why he has developed so quickly this season. Even after a further three year extension, Richie would still only be 21 and the world (rather than Warrington) could be his oyster.

At the end of the day Richie has to trust Offiah and his family to advise him on what the best option is for the development of his career, not the next few seasons earning big bucks.

He will leave with good wishes from 99% of Salford fans who will feel happy that Salford RLFC have helped played a part in the development of a future star and witnessed some fantastic performance from him. One thing you cannot question is Richies efforts on the field for our club over the past two seasons.

I for one will with him the best if this is the end of the road in his salford chapter, and will to be honest be happier to see ratchford playing at 7 as I feel he is a star in the making and all this myler hype has taken the focus off him ever so slightly

The time when young Richard Myler takes his leave down at the Willows I am sure the majority of the Red's fans will wish him all the best.

And to the OP , can`t say I`ve seen any slagging off of Richard Myler, certainly there`s plenyt of discussion about his situation which you`d expect tbh.

According to Sky, McRae says Richie is staying to see out his contract and things may improve at the club which might make him change his mind.
