I've never had the privelige of going to the JJB but am going on Friday. What is the best way of getting there. I live rigt near Walkden train station so that is an option. How far is the ground from Wallgate. If I decide to drive which is the best way and where is the cheapest and best place to park? How is everyone else getting there.

BTW. there are three of us going so probably will end up cheaper to drive.

its about 10 mins walk from the station. i will be getting the train from Walkden about 5 ish. To drive there you are best heading for the old central park ground and head towards the hospital and come in the back way and park on the carpark behind the soccer dome. That way you will miss all the traffic in the town centre.

 You couldnt run it in 10 mins. I would give yourself 30 mins if I was you (20 mins fast walk), unless you want to be rushing about like a madman.

I think driving is the best bet then. How much is the car park?

You can park on the red robin near the ground for free, one of the car parks near the soccor dome is free as long as you get there early enough, the rest are £3 i think

30 mins? are you having a laugh. you cut through the trading estate and over the bridge at the back of the stand. we did it last time in 10mins from the train station

it is right next to the ground. Only problem you might have is getting off there after the game. We usually have a drink and let the traffic clear first. Whatever you do dont park on the retail park, you will get done on there.
