 Better on at 1 p.m. on a Sunday than it's repeat time of something like 3.45 a.m. on Monday morning, which is what the rest of the country outside of the North have to put up with!

Should show it at about 10.00 pm on a Sunday, but thats commom sense, something that senior managers at the BBC seem to lack.

I was just thinking that on bbc 1 or 2 round about that time. brain dead to put highlights on when half the league are yet to play :FRUSRATED:

I suspect it's due to when they can afford to put it on. unless they put it on very late on a sunday or monday it'll be on prime time and i should imagine that there aren't enough people that watch it to justifi that!

I'm jsut guessin but that's y i always thought they put it on at such a stupid time.

It's on via the red button anytime on BBC channels and also online so you don't have to watch it at the time that it's on tv.

Thanks for that mate, Im never able to catch it on a Sunday.

Like Captain Planet states though, it would be nice if you could view the Sunday afternoon games.

I hardly ever watch the Super League show anymore, only when I happen to come across it while flicking channels, especially considering they just change the times every week - don't know if they still do that stupid coverage of one game in particular every week with "stylish" camera shots i.e. you can see sod all of what's actually happening....

The highlights on the official Super League website are much better, given that they're extended highlights.

That is the trouble with it, you have never got a clue when it is on and so cant get into a habit of watching it.

whats cost got to do with it, BBC is paid for by us, effectively they have the same programme costs at 1am as at 6.30 pm, no need to sell adverts.
There will be a free sports slot from next Sunday Night when MOTD2 finishes they could put it on there, with coverage of all the Weekends matches.
