Just in case you missed out on tickets for this year’s Manchester International Festival, there's a few more smaller gatherings to keep an eye on in early Summer. Not Part of 2009 is a fringe festival ‘counterbalancing’ MIF (acts TBC); Hungry Pigeon, a Northern Quarter festival in May (Gideon Conn. Kid British, Nine Black Alps, Vinny Peculiar et al.); Futuresonic is also in May, as is Salford's Sounds From The Other City(Legowelt et al.).
