I thought this deserved a thread of its own, yesterday when the players were leaving the field was it just me or did anyone else notice Mr Jewitt blowing kisses and laughing at the fans? This really vexed me off & the guy needs sacking from the fooking club, i was disgusted with what i saw from him and i never want to see him in a reds shirt again.

I dont think any of the players got near enough to us fans yesterday to be able to see what they were or werent doing...another example of the poor attitude running throughout the club at present - its not hard to walk over to the fans to appreciate them making that journey is it??

No but this is a new concept, I think walking over to the crowd should be held for purposes such as a cup final or end of season appreciation. If they've won a game I can appreciate a few of the players wanting to get involved in the crowds reaction and join the atmosphere with a fist in the air and the odd clap but if they've just been hammered or were rubbish, they should just twaddle off without recognition either way.
Nothing worse than clapping off a dead beat performance IMO.
this will not be the end, or even the beginning of the end.
It is merely the end of the beginning

Not neccessarily us clapping them though is it.
I always believe the players should come over to appreciate the fans who've travelled no matter what the result, seems like most of them only do when they know they'll get a good reaction

Like I said, a new concept from new fans. I'm oldskool and couldn't give a hoot whether they come over once a games finished!

He shouldn't have been doing so in the first place, he should have either walked over and applauded us, or he should have walked off the pitch with his head down, thats what that performance deserved. I am not one for booing, because that does not help the situation in anyway, however I do believe fans who have travelled all the way down there, thinking a defeat was more than likely. Most people spending £20ish to get there in the first place, plus the £20 it cost adults to get into that elegant place of a ground, and then we watch our beloved team perform like that. A man who came onto the pitch, did very little indeed except start a stupid fight which wasn't needed should not be stood on the pitch joking aroung having a laugh with his wife(which i'm sure our fans wouldn't have minded in normal circumstances)
