Try booking seperately via York and then York-Edinburgh, that made ours cheaper.

Yeah that's what I did - think tickets cost me about 38 quid with a railcard.
We left accommodation until last week so there was literally no rooms, especially considering there's 6 of us. Managed to find
this place . Should be good fun
