Sorry WWW I don't see that. Nashy is still a young inexperienced prop forward. He might not be a barnstormer but watch him more closely and you'll notice he puts a big defensive effort in and always puts his all in both attack and defence. Something which at present can't be said of our so called NRL standard prop forwards who are distinctly not playing as well as they should in all areas of their game.

Nash isn't inexperienced anymore. He played for GB Under 18's academy in Oz, played numerous first team games for Widnes and seems to have been at Salford for about 3 years now? I'd say he's been playing first team for about 5 years now. If you look at some of the young lads coming through in SL there are 18/19 year old forwards breaking into teams and making an impact.

Nash was tipped to be a star as a kid, but to be honest I've never seen it.

Me neither. He used to get rave reviews whilst playing for Widnes academy, whom I never watched, and I used to look forward to seeing him play when he was in the first team.I know it's a big step up but I just couldn't see anything to get excited about, not even any potential or promise.

Most, James Graham is an exception, of the best props in the world are in their late 20s not 22/23, Nash is learning his craft and will make it as a quality SL prop.

Can't you stop shouting - your keyboard does have lower case you know, and learn to spell ass only has two s's in it, and through does have an r.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion as you've pointed out somewhere else, but being nothing but loud and abusive doesn't really advance the argument.

Yours in hope rather than expectation (now just waiting for an abusive reply!)

I obviously didn't watch Steve Nash as closely as you did but I thought that he did no better or no worse than any other of our forwards.

If you were on a Spectator Watch listening to some spectators gives you the impression that they are a little childish, with a very short concentration span and need to get plenty of Jelly Babies or lollipops to keep them happy whereas others go onto forums such as this and vent their anger at the odd rugby player or two.

A dummy helps too but one should not use one over the age of 21 years.
