Having a think back through the last few seasons, Our record away from home seems to be an obvious downfall, even in 2006 when we finished 5th, I can recall we only won away from home 4 times! I think we also only won 4 away games in the league last season considering we were in NL1 that is very poor. Missed off the 2003 seasone because we won 8 of our 10 aways that season I think...These stats may not be entirely accurate as it is 01:09 as I type this, but:

2001: London, Huddersfield, Cas, Warrington
2002: Widnes, Warrington, Halifax
2004: Castleford x2, Widnes
2005: Leigh x2, Widnes
2006: Warrington x2, Catalans, Wakefield
2007: Huddersfield, Hull KR
2008: Batley, Dewsbury, Leigh, Halfiax (9 away games in NL1)
2009: Played two of arguably the eaisest 4 or 5 away games we have and won 0...

Looking back through that, it is a very poor record, especially the '08 season. I think the club will have to look into this, I don't know how they could improve this record to be honest, weather it be get there early or stay over I don't know I just think the club do with having a think.

Your thoughts...?

I am not entirely negative, just highlighting some points which the club will definetly need to look into over our 3 year contract in SL.

Changing the subject slightly, can anyone else see us and Celtic being cut adrift at the bottom this season?

Despite us only having one year out of SL, Cas have gone from the bottom side to winning at Wigan, Hudds have won at Catalans and Bradford, Hull KR have won at Saints and Wakey have beat both Wigan and Wire. My point being that the teams we would target as winnable games have all improved massively since our last SL season, and therefore some of our so called winnable games are actually going to be harder than we expected.
