Coley was amazing tonight and i don't really know where that performance came from? Wish he could do that every week.

Seriously tho i was stood to the left of the Wigan end on the corner between what I believe you call the shed and some of your fans were on the teams back from literally the first minute. One guy who was obviously drunk didn’t have a good word to say about your team. You weren’t honestly that bad and in 12 months you’ll be far, far more competitive. It’s always gonna take time tho

When he wants to he's a very good player but the guy looks un-interested at times.

Agree 100%, a few of us were talking after the game about the way he used to raise his game when he played for us against Warrington. In his 1st spell tonight he was almost unplayable. The point was made that if he could focus & play like that every week he'd be a regular international, as you say it's not so much a case of ability as one of attitude & I think that's what supporters (be it Salford or Wigan) find so frustrating about the man.

Frustrating just about sums the guy up. He's a huge bloke but also a good athlete and when he plays like tonight you look at him as a English version of Willie Mason. The problem is preformences like tonight only happen once every blue moon and the rest of the time he walks around at half pace with a can't be arsed look on his face.

He'll retire as a guy who's pretty much wasted his natural talents imo.

Last time I seen him play like that was when he was playing for Salford against Wigan, IIRC he scored either once or twice that game

Agreed.

Anyone who really thinks that abuse off the fans puts a player off their game is deluded. It will ALWAYS fire them up.

Apologies for slipping into CAPS-LOCK mode...

Can't help but think the hostile reception he got will have helped to get him fired up enough to turn in that kind of performance. :?

like I stated on here the other day but most fans ignored it, Sports Pyschology was one of my subjects all be it 20 odd years ago it doesn't change.
