Why is it that when we lose, the Coach is a plonker and when we win he isn't mentioned ??

I thought that there was no doubt that the better team won today, thought the scoreline was a very fair reflection of the game, the better team won......just.

Always knew Richie Myler would get the MOTM award but for me there were 3 huge stars in the pack who need big mentions. Firstly my MOTM Craig Stapleton, was outstanding, arguably his best game as a Salford player which in itself is no mean acheivment. How many minutes was the big fella on the pitch today by the way? Outstanding effort. Secondly, the man who for my money has been our stand-out player of the season Luke Adamson, take a bow young Luke, you were almost as good as your performance last week & that's really saying something. Last, but by no means least, step forward Luke Swain, to be falling around the pitch like a toddler in a play-pen 1 minute then to wave away all medical attention & to race back into the defensive line, that's above & beyond the call of duty. Then he rounds it off with the charge down of Monaghan's kick towards the end, superb.

Don't think I've stopped smiling since last Sunday, long may it continue. :D :D :D

I said the same thing to my mate at the end of the game. McRae was given applause as he left the pitch. I bet some of the people clapping were calling for his head 2 weeks ago.

Most of the first postings on this thread were from supporters of other clubs who weren't even there. So as someone who was...let me tell them that the better of two very poor teams won today.

The rugby on show was barely NL1 standard, and both teams played similar tactics.

I can see us, Celtic and Salford battling it out for the bottom 3 positions.

i basically said this, the conditions were a great leveller.
i was there and i wish your drummer wasn't.
also, we know we are not very good, unlike yourselves, who think you are up there with the best.
