Nope they didn't!
Reardon tricked his wife into opening the door by telling her that their child had gone to hospital. She opened the door and Rearden pushed past her with Pryce following. The prosecution brought no evidence of violent entry presumably because someone told porkies about the door being bashed in (can't miss that as evidence really, can you?).
You need to check your facts before blurting out crap about people.

To be fair, whilst I'm not arguing with what you say, that's not how it was reported;
"When neither Mrs Reardon nor Mr O'Brien opened the door to the second-floor flat, Reardon sent a text message to his wife's new boyfriend claiming their young son was in hospital. He then shoulder-barged the door, breaking the frame and the lock".
Must admit though, I had misread the report and now realise it said 'pushed' not 'punched'.
What truly beffles me is that these two are likely to be prisoned, yet Cockayne wasn't?!?

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

That's a different report from the one I read in the RL press in that it was reported there that they 'barged past' Mrs Reardon, Mrs Reardon having already opened the door. Given that the prosecution did not present any evidence to support the violent entry charge, I rather believe the RL press version than the one you have quoted.
I doubt either will be imprisoned to be honest. The judge at Cockayne's trial also spoke about a prison sentence and he got one, it's just suspended for two years. I'd be surprised if either Pryce or Reardon goes to jail unless it is one of those judges who decides they want to make an example of a couple of locally famous people (they're hardly soccer stars).

Can we be careful what is said on here regarding this issue. It's a pretty sensitive matter and we don't really want to have ourselves or RLFans up for any kind of libel issues... regardless of whether it has been reported or spoken of in court.
Shame he has done what he has, because I'd have been more than happy for Reardon to return to the Willows. The effort he gave to our club during 2002 was fantastic and one of the few good memories of that poor season.
Anderson-son-son
He's better than Kleberson
Anderson-son-son-son
He's our midfield magician
On the left, on the right
Do the Samba beat tonight
He is class, he sh*gs brass
And he sh*ts on Fabregas
